KIGA Labs, in association with Korea Venture Business Association (“KOVA”) and International Network of Korean Entrepreneurs (“INKE”), is proud to host the 2nd Canada-Korea Startup Venture Forum during the 2016 Global Venture Week (October 17th to the 22nd). 20+ hot tech-startups from Korea looking to soft land in Canada will be invited to Toronto for this one week conference with the objective of creating relationships for their expansion into Toronto’s rapidly evolving startup ecosystem. This years’ forum theme is “Innovation, Commercialization and International Collaboration”, with a specific emphasis on “Smart Building”, “Media, Entertainment & Education”, “Healthcare” and “IoT” sectors.
As part of the Global Venture Week, The forum will be held on Wednesday, October 19th 2016 at The Ritz-Carlton Hotel. The Forum will include a demo day with corporate presentations of some of the best Korean technology startups, private meetings for investments and collaborations, as well as networking opportunities to create new international contacts or simply reconnect with fellow investors or entrepreneurs. Attending are over 100 Korean and Canadian technology entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, scientists, engineers and corporate executives. This Forum will create the ideal deal-making, learning and networking opportunity.
